What Is the microneedling?

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy or dermapen treatment, is a procedure that uses a specialized device called a derma roller or a microneedling pen. This device consists of tiny needles that create microchannels in the skin when rolled or stamped onto the target area. These micro-injuries are usually superficial, designed to stimulate the skin's healing response without causing significant damage.

The micro-injuries created during microneedling trigger the release of growth factors and promote the production of collagen and elastin fibers. Collagen is a vital protein that provides structural support to the skin, while elastin helps maintain its elasticity. As the skin repairs itself, new collagen and elastin fibers are formed, leading to firmer, smoother, tighter and more youthful-looking skin.
