Before getting Lip Enhancement done...
Before undergoing lip enhancement procedure, using different techniques, it is important for the patient to know some facts about the treatment. Lip fillers last from 6 to18 months. Depends of your own life style, health condition and metabolism. Results are seen immediately after treatment and usually goes down a bit after few days due to swelling present straight after procedure. Some people are more prone to swelling and bruising- it is very individual- but do not worry, these side effects will go away after few days by themselves.
After having your lip fillers done avoid activities that increase substantial blood flow such as exercise and getting massages or facials. If you are prone to cold sores, preventative medication immediately before/after your treatment is recommended as injections can trigger a flare of cold sores. You can go about as normal straight after your treatment. However, it is important to not book your appointment close to a significant event like a wedding or function to allow some time for any bruising or swelling to settle.
